We've finally had our first days off from driving.
Played two shows in NH, on in Dover at the brickhouse
Photo's below of the bands and MC's that we preformed with.
We also played at the Red Door. Photo's to come.
Only two more shows left.
Tonight Upstairs at the Middle East and
Tomorrow at the White Heart in Portland.

I made it to Greenville and Back (tour part 2)

What a long leg it was to get to North Carolina but the hospitality made it well worth it.
I heard the show was amazing but sadly I got a little sick from dinner and spent the night in the back seat of a car.
So there are no photo's from Greenville which is very sad.
Next stop was Richmond Va. played at the Ghost Print Gallery.
Again hospitality was above in beyond what we had hoped for.
We had tough competition with other shows playing that night.
The other shows must of won out for our crowd was sparse.
We managed to have an amazing time.
After Richmond we trekked to Albany NY and played upstairs at Valentines.
The crowd was warm and welcoming.
Can't wait to see how the rest of this adventure goes..

Quote Of the Week 7/12 - 7/18

Anyone who takes himself too seriously always runs the risk of looking ridiculous; anyone who can consistently laugh at himself does not.

The photo is of Brandon and my Niece Sariah.

The Roadtrip Begins

Sadly I admit I don't have any photo's of the trip so far uploaded onto my laptop. We've made it to Burlington, Vermont and we'll be here until Sunday. Then off to Pittsburgh. A ten hour drive.

It's strange to think this is only the first show on our tour. I am nervous about selling my jewelry at the shows but I'd be much more disappointed if I chickened out.

I have some prep work to do to feel completely ready for showing. Like making up price tags and list of inventory.
Things I could have done weeks ago.
But since we've made a visiting friends stop I'll have a few days to put my Entrepreneurial self in place.

The two photo's are of new pieces of jewelry I created recently. The first a navy blue knit bracelet that buttons with a Sailors Cross vintage button. It's also 100% recycled.
The second is a pair of Over-sized pearl-esque earrings that are made from vintage beads.

They are both for sale at my etsy site

Hopefully tomorrow I will post more pictures from the trip, my jewelry display, Brandon and I preforming and anything else that happens to us along the way.

Today's a day for to-do-lists. Brandon and I are leaving tomorrow to go on tour. His tour. I'm coming along for the adventure and the hope to sell some jewelry. First stop Boston, then Burlington, on to Pittsburgh, Richmond, Albany, New Haven, Dover, Revere, Boston (again) and then Portland.
My heads spinning already just thinking about spending two weeks in a car. I've got a lot of getting ready to do. My big agenda for the day is to figure out a display for the merchandise table. And also to get the maps printed to and from each area. and to pack. well I've got a few big things on my plate.
I am very excited and a little nervous to show case my jewelry at his shows. Opportunity is an Opportunity and I should make the most of it. I'll post photo's of my display once its finally done.
We'll I'm off to make a list for starters.

Take care everyone.

Hello and Welcome

I've created this blog to shared with everyone my life, my crafts and my business. I am just at the beginning of many journeys and I want to keep you all updated. For starters I've begun an online business selling my jewelry creations. I am putting my heart into making this work. I've never had such determination before. I'm already dreaming about the days I make profit :) The photo's of a pair of earrings I made today.
You can find them at flawed.etsy.com
There is also the excitement of becoming Brandon's wife. Even though we already spend every day together and our union will be as casual as they come. I am excited about it none the less.
My life seems so full of love, passion, creativity and excitement.

I hope to share it all with you.

thank you for visiting.
